Bratislava collective Urbsounds creates and supports electronics that stand out from the range. In Plumlov, they will present a combination band in which everyone will play with everyone. This is not a classical concert but an open space of cooperation and improvisation, whose cast and results differ every time. Five musicians will perform on this occasion. Makkatu is known for its experimental approach to techno with rich sonic textures and unexpected rhythmic twists. Urbanfailure explores darker electronica close to industrial, raw, full of energy and engaging field recordings and various types of audio manipulation. Shutcoo brings elements of the modular free techno and jungle scenes that layer sounds to create deep and immersive landscapes; the Ten O’clock project focuses on live improvisation and experiments on hardware instruments. The result is polyrhythmic, unpredictable sets on the edge of breakcore. And the whole band will open with a dub techno set, Dubaex.

... we have opened up to become a platform that promotes artists across the world who share the understanding that music is an inherently political force of change. We collaborate with artists who focus their attention on desolated parts of society and reflect it in a challenging way. There are scars all over this dystopian sprawl we are living in. Urbsounds is collecting the grime that oozes from the wounds, using this fluid to fuel the pressing of vinyl LPs and the coding of digital releases
